Moments is a series of 108 paintings (in process). Each painting works as a shared prayer to find the sacred and transcendental in what surrounds and contains us. The technique is faster and with less detail than in the other series.

Moment means movement, impulse, influence and importance, it comes from the Latin root of movimientum, from the verb to move. Moments are transcendental movements.

In many cultures and religions 108 is believed to be a number that unites us with the universe. The diameter of the sun is 108 times the earths, and the average distance between the sun, moon, and earth is 108 times their respective diameters. The mantras are chanted 108 times and their purpose is to bring us closer to the inner god. In Buddhism it is the total of the feelings and in Janism the total of the ways of karma. For many wise men, 108 is the basis of creation, it represents the universe and our entire existence.
